Opening Ceremony

The Opening Ceremony of the Sudbury 2025 Ontario 55+ Summer Games will be held on the shores of Ramsey Lake at the beautiful Grace Hartman Amphitheatre!

Outdoor amphitheatre by the lake, on a sunny afternoon. People fill the seats as they watch the stage.

Where: Grace Hartman Amphitheatre, Bell Park, Greater Sudbury
When: Tuesday Aug. 5 2025 from 7-8:30 p.m.
Who: Open to participants and non-participants registered for the Games. Your accreditation badge will be your ticket for entry!

What to bring:

  • A blanket to sit on or a lawn chair. The capacity of the Amphitheater bowl is 1,963 people. It features fixed seating for 563 people and a grass area for up to 1,400 people. Accessible seating is also available in section 2, row M. Chairs can be provided for companions who do not require mobility aid.
  • Bug spray
  • A bottle of water

Middle Night

The Middle Night social event for the 2025 Ontario 55+ Summer Games will be hosted at Science North — a true Northern Ontario gem!

Where: Science North, 100 Ramsey Lake Rd, Greater Sudbury
When: Wednesday Aug. 6 2025 from approximately 5:30-9:30 p.m.
Who: Open to participants and non-participants registered for the Games. Your accreditation badge will be your ticket for entry!
